A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! How comfy are they?
They required minimal break-in time..
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They include a built-in arch bump that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the shine on mine? Stunning.
Would you recommend them?
Yes! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them with a promo is smarter. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a neutral version would also go with everything.

How is the fit?
I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair. They haven’t stretched at all, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up a size
Are they comfortable?
They felt good almost immediately. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they reduce sweat. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in fake leather. Also, they’re already distressed so your feet just adjust easily.
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the structure feels strong.
Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
